When a city is known as “the city of museums” for sure it will be due to something. In the case of Malaga, it is quite normal to have associated this description, as it has more than 25 museums, becoming one of the main cultural capitals within Spain.

Principia: Interactive Science Museum in Malaga
Of course science also has its place in the Malaga capital. The Principia museum is an ideal visit to go with children and offer them an educational day with so much fun.
It has three main spaces:
- Faraday Room: where experiments are done, in addition to having a digital projector of stars, which invites us to see the sky from any part of the universe. Truly spectacular.
- Tomás Hormigo Room: it is the most interactive room, it has up to 80 different modules to interact and learn about science. A delight for children (and not so kids!)
- Astronomical observatory. No, we won’t go to space, but in this observatory we will get an idea of the galaxy in which we live, the stars and planets that compose it.
Interpretation Centre Roman Theatre
If we would talk about the theatres in Malaga, we would have so much to talk about that we could write another post, because the theatrical scene in the capital is very varied and always has a large number of functions of various themes.
But today we want to talk especially about the interpretation centre of the Roman theatre, which apart from offering functions inspired by classical works, we can see in its façade fragments of the Lex Flavia Malacitana. As well as, inside, we can see different works and pieces that bring us closer to the Roman dramaturgy.
Another curiosity is that the theatre was built in the first century by the emperor Augustus. Let us say that it is a way of transporting us and feeling the magnitude of the Roman Empire. If you have time, we recommend the visit for sure.
The conclusion we have drawn after reading our posts is that Malaga offers a very wide range of cultural activities, and as far as museums, there are so many that there is something for all tastes!
